The Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic Employment held a socialization on Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline and Government Regulation Number 79 of 2021 concerning Administrative Efforts and the State Civil Apparatus Employment Advisory Body. This socialization involves all administrators and other academics such as lecturers, PLP, administrative staff of Politani. This activity starts at 07.30 WITA offline with the implementation of health protocols at the Samarinda Politani Auditorium, Monday (01/11/2021).

This outreach activity was officially opened by the Director of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic, Hamka S.TP., M.Sc., MP. by presenting 2 resource persons, namely Andi Anto, S.Sos., M.H,. M.AP. Position of Inspector of the Jakarta State Civil Service Agency and Acting Assistant Secretary of BAPEK. The second resource person was Muhammad Syafiq, S.H, who served as Legal Analyst for Junior Expert/Sub. Processing Coordinator B/2 Secretariat of BAPEK.  “This outreach aims to provide an understanding and dig deeper into the two Government Regulations to employees (ASN) and managers. Provide an understanding of the obligations and prohibitions for civil servants (PNS) and increase the awareness of employees in the Samarinda Politani environment regarding the new regulation PP No. 94 of 2021.

Awareness of obeying all the regulations that have been set so that it can motivate employees to improve performance in providing the best service, "explained Eva Nurmarini, S.Hut., M, as the Chairperson of the activity.  In his speech, Hamka explained that related to discipline is something that must be obeyed and implemented by all ASN, "maybe we used to hear PP No. 53 of 2010 about discipline as well, but now there is a new PP, namely PP No. 94 of 2021 which contains more details. about all matters concerning discipline, obligations and sanctions that will be obtained if violated. The level of discipline in employee performance is closely related to the percentage of attendance, verbal reprimands, and sanctions ranging from light to severe "this can affect the provision of salaries and performance benefits," he explained.

Hamka hopes that with this socialization activity, employees can better understand and can demonstrate integrity and discipline and can become good ASNs.
The speakers in this socialization were the Inspector of the Jakarta State Civil Service Agency and Plt. Assistant Secretary of BAPEK in the first session, and Legal Analyst for Junior Expert/Sub. Processing Coordinator B/2 BAPEK Secretariat in the second session. Through the material entitled Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021: Mr. Andi Anto hopes that ASN can maintain good discipline, obey and comply with the obligations that have been stipulated in government regulations and should not be violated, because there are sanctions that will await, namely from light disciplinary penalties, moderate to severe disciplinary punishment, cutting tukin, demotion to dismissal with honor not at his own request as a civil servant. Through an understanding of the regulations that have been set, it is hoped that all employees in the Samarinda Politani environment can maintain discipline and ensure the quality of the implementation of bureaucratic reform. Meanwhile, the second resource person, Muhammad Syafiq, S.H., a legal analyst with Young Experts/Sub. Processing Coordinator B/2 Secretariat of BAPEK. delivered a presentation related to Administrative Efforts and the State Civil Apparatus Advisory Body (BPASN). Syafiq in his presentation explained that usually in carrying out management guidance to ASN Employees, Commitment Making Officers (PPK) will make various decisions and actions that usually create dissatisfaction for other parties. In an effort to protect the rights of ASN employees and also improve the quality of services, there is a complaint mechanism for ASN employees. the complaint mechanism is in the form of Administrative Efforts. The Administrative Efforts consist of 2 (two) categories, namely Administrative Objections and Appeals. If the administrative efforts carried out are considered incomplete, then the ASN Employees can file a lawsuit to the State Administrative Court. he concluded. (Humas/AL).
