Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic PPID Profile
Openness of public information is one of the important characteristics of a democratic state that upholds the sovereignty of the people to realize good state administration. As a form of appreciation and support from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education for the openness of public information and a statement of compliance with the KIP Law, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education has issued Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Regulation No. 59 of 2016 concerning Public Services at the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Regulation no. 75 of 2016 concerning Public Information Services which replaces Minister of Education and Culture Regulation no. 50 of 2011. Not only that, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education is intensively conducting outreach and requiring work units under it to immediately form an Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID), then an implementing PPID whose job is to identify public information services and report periodically to the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.

Duties and Functions of PPID Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic
PPID's duties and functions are as follows: 1. Prepare materials for providing public information services quickly, precisely and simply within the scope of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic; 2. Store and document, secure information materials accurately; 3. Prepare materials for suggestions/responses to complaints, requests for objections and/or disputes over public information services; 4. Prepare information classification materials; 5. Prepare periodic reports on the implementation of information services to the PPID of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
