Software Engineering Technology Study Program

VISION :

    To become a superior study program in Kalimantan in vocational education in the field of intelligent information technology in 2027

MISSION :
 
  1. Organizing a quality learning process to produce graduates who are professional, ready to work and able to compete in the field of information technology
  2. Mobilize research activities that are of high quality and have benefits to improve the progress of science in the field of technology and information
  3. Increase the use of science in the field of information technology
  4. Establish cooperation and partnerships with institutions both government and business in the field of information technology

GOALS OF THE STUDY PROGRAM :
 
  1. Preparing graduates who fear God Almighty and have noble character
  2. Producing competent and creative Software Engineering graduates in the field of information technology
  3. Applying the results of knowledge and research in the field of information technology to improve the welfare of the community, especially in East Kalimantan.
STUDY PROGRAM STRATEGY:
To achieve the vision and mission of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic Software Engineering Study Program, the Software Engineering Technology Study Program Targets were made. As stated in the Curriculum Book of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic, Software Engineering Technology Study Program, the targets are divided into three timeframes namely, short term, medium term and long term.

Short Term Targets (2024) of the Software Engineering Technology Study Program include:
1. Increase the number of certified lecturers by at least 25%.
2. Producing 50% national-level research from the number of lecturers.
3. Improving the quality of teaching and education of lecturers so that at least 25% of lecturers have competency certification.
4. Achievement of high academic achievement by increasing the average GPA of 2.75.
5. Reach the 4-year study period target of 75%.
6. The waiting period for graduates to get a job is under six months, at least 50%.
7. The level of suitability of graduates' work with their fields is at least 50%.
8. Organizing a quality learning process that meets national standards.

The targets for achieving the vision, mission and goals in 2032 (Medium Term) are:
1. Increase the number of certified lecturers by at least 50%.
2. Producing national and international research as much as 75% of the total number of lecturers.
3. Improving the quality of teaching and education of lecturers so that at least 50% of lecturers have competency certification.
4. Achievement of high academic achievement by increasing the average GPA of 3.00.
5. Reach the 4-year study period target of 90%.
6. The waiting period for graduates to get a job is under six months, at least 75%.
7. The level of suitability of graduates' work with their fields is at least 75%.
8. Organizing a quality learning process that meets national standards.

The targets for achieving the vision, mission and goals in 2042 (Long Term) are:
1. Increase the number of certified lecturers to at least 90%.
2. Producing at least 100% national and international standard research from all lecturers.
3. Improving the quality of teaching and education of lecturers so that at least 80% of lecturers have competency certification.
4. Achievement of high academic achievement by increasing the average GPA of 3.25.
5. Achieve the target of 4 years of study to reach 100%.
6. The waiting period for graduates to get a job is under six months, at least 80%.
7. The level of suitability of graduates' work with their fields is at least 80%.
8. Organizing a quality learning process that meets international standards.
