Wijaya Geo Survey, PT. Main Energy Dinar, PT. Infomap Geo Survey, CV. Geo Mapping Survey, CV. Technical Cahaya Borneo, PT. Indosurvey Mining Services and PT. This activity was also attended by Deputy Director IV for cooperation Yulianto, Head of Geomatics Technology Study Program Dawamul Arifin and several Geomatics Technology lecturers. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and this PKS is in order to strengthen the Geomatics Technology study program as a Center of Excellence in Surveying and Mapping and to realize the practice of the Tridharma of Higher Education which includes Education, Research and Community Service.

The Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic and several companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding which will then be followed up with a cooperation agreement (PKS) to procure and improve the quality of surveys and mapping in the Geomatics Technology Study Program which will ultimately have an impact on improving the quality of human resources, namely the competence of students and lecturers. to prepare skilled workers in terms of surveys and mapping, as well as services for the community. The Head of the Geomatics Technology Study Program expressed his hope that real collaboration could be established between the Geomatics Technology Study Program, in this case, which developed by creating the Center for Excellence in Surveying and Mapping Technology with the survey and mapping service industry in meeting the needs of existing survey and mapping services. Meanwhile, the Director of Politani in his speech expressed his highest appreciation for having been given the opportunity to have a cooperative relationship, Hamka in his presentation said that this MoU and PKS are an effort to bind cooperation/collaboration in terms of industrial/research internships for students, lecturers, and Politani employees as well as transformation knowledge in survey and mapping equipment as well as collaboration in project implementation of mapping and survey activities in various agencies. This can be done because Politani already has the latest survey and mapping tools and is not owned by several companies operating in the sector. This opportunity was done by Politani Samarinda by creating a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) for the Center for Excellence in Surveying and Mapping Technology to take on the role of one of the technology centers in the field of surveying and mapping in Indonesia. In addition to very adequate equipment, this is also supported by competent human resources. All of this is thanks to the support of all parties, especially the Directorate General of Vocational Education Kemendikbudristek in the Matching Fund program and assistance from dudi partner PT. Indosurvey Mining Services (IMS). Hamka said. (Humas/AL).
