The launch of Kampus Bersinar or the Drug Clean Campus is the first declaration on the island of Kalimantan, as an effort to reduce the number of narcotics users in Indonesia, especially among students. In his speech, the Governor of East Kalimantan, Isran Noor, really appreciated this activity and said he was proud and happy, because students received direct enlightenment from the Head of BNN. On that occasion, Isran Noor also said that Narcotics are very difficult to eliminate but at least together they are fighting against narcotics, said Governor Isran Noor .
Meanwhile, Komjen Pol. Petrus Reinhard Golose in his presentation admitted that he agreed with what was conveyed by the Governor, Mr. Isran Noor, that Narcotics are indeed very difficult to eliminate because their circulation does not recognize any region, position, and profession. Its abuse can happen to anyone from the poor, employees, state apparatus, police, soldiers, judges, students/students, housewives and can also happen to religious leaders. Likewise for areas that know no boundaries, whether in the city, in the village, have become targets for narcotics circulation.
For this reason, the presence of the National Narcotics Agency will continue to strive to carry out socialization to invite the public to stay away from Narcotics, because the effects will destroy the future, so that one of the efforts made is to encourage the participation of the Shining Campus or the Drug Clean Campus. According to Petrus Golose, his presence and his duty with BNN and students is to jointly suppress drug abuse, which can start from their respective families.
The event was also coupled with the awarding of awards to regional heads and community leaders who have played an active role in the efforts to prevent and eradicate the abuse and illicit trafficking of narcotics (P4GN), in addition to making a Declaration of Commitment to Universities in East Kalimantan, including the Politani Samarinda.
