Academic Determination Ceremony for the Engineering and Computer Department of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic Officially Held
Samarinda, August 21, 2026 — The Engineering and Computer Department of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda) held a graduation eligibility ceremony (*yudisium*) for graduates from two study programs: Geomatics Technology (TG) and Software Engineering Technology (TRPL). The solemn event took place at the Politani Samarinda Integrated Laboratory Auditorium and was attended by all prospective graduates from both programs. The event opened with remarks from the Master of Ceremonies (MC), followed by a prayer of gratitude for the participants' achievements. The atmosphere grew even more solemn as all attendees sang the national anthem, "Indonesia Raya," followed by the Politani March, symbolizing pride in their alma mater.

STUDY PROGRAM COORDINATOR REPORTS
The proceedings continued with reports from each study program coordinator. The first report was delivered by the Geomatics Technology Study Program Coordinator, A. Arifin Itsnani, SM., S.Si., M.T., who outlined the academic achievements and journeys of the TG students during their studies.
Next, a report was presented by the Software Engineering Technology Study Program Coordinator, Asep Nurhuda, S.Kom., M.Kom., who provided an overview of the academic process and student achievements within the TRPL program. The event then proceeded with remarks from the Head of the Engineering and Computer Department at Politani Samarinda, Dr. Suswanto, M.Pd. In his address, he expressed his appreciation and shared a message with the prospective graduates who had successfully completed their studies in the Engineering and Computer Department.

GRADUATION ELIGIBILITY PROCESSION
Moving to the main agenda, the graduation eligibility procession was carried out sequentially, beginning with the Geomatics Technology (TG) Study Program and followed by the Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) Study Program. The names of the students declared to have passed were read out one by one, and they were officially confirmed as graduates. To recognize academic excellence, the event included an awards ceremony honoring the top-performing and fastest-graduating students from each study program, as well as the overall top graduate from the Department of Engineering and Computer Science.

CLOSING
Towards the end of the event, the Director of Politani Samarinda delivered remarks, offering words of encouragement and motivation to the graduates. They were urged to continue contributing to the workforce and society, utilizing the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies at Politani Samarinda.
