SAMARINDA (20/08/2026) — The Department of Agriculture at the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda) successfully held a graduation eligibility ceremony (*yudisium*) for graduates from three study programs: Plantation Crop Cultivation (BTP), Plantation Product Technology (THP), and Plantation Management (PP). The event took place in a solemn atmosphere at the Politani Samarinda Integrated Laboratory Auditorium and was attended by all prospective graduates from the three programs.
The event opened with remarks from the Master of Ceremonies (MC), followed by a prayer of gratitude for the participants' achievements. The atmosphere grew even more solemn as all attendees sang the national anthem, *Indonesia Raya*, followed by the Politani March, symbolizing pride in their alma mater.
STUDY PROGRAM COORDINATOR REPORTS
The proceedings continued with reports from each study program coordinator. The first report was presented by the Coordinator of the Plantation Crop Cultivation (BTP) Study Program, Roby, S.P., M.P., who outlined the academic achievements and journeys of BTP students during their studies. Next, a report was delivered by the Coordinator of the Plantation Product Technology (THP) Study Program, Elisa Ginsel Popang, S.TP., M.Sc., providing an overview of the academic process and student achievements in the THP program. The final report was presented by the Coordinator of the Plantation Management (PP) Study Program, Dr. Sukariyan, S.Hut., M.P., who concluded the series of coordinator reports by detailing the achievements of PP students.
REMARKS BY THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT
The event then proceeded with remarks from the Head of the Department of Agriculture at Politani Samarinda, Dr. Ahmad Zamroni, S.Hut., M.P. In his address, he expressed his appreciation and shared a message with the prospective graduates who had completed their studies in the Department of Agriculture. GRADUATION CEREMONY (YUDISIUM)
Moving to the main event, the graduation ceremony proceeded sequentially, beginning with the Plantation Crop Cultivation (BTP) Study Program, followed by the Plantation Product Technology (THP) Study Program, and concluding with the Plantation Management (PP) Study Program. The names of the students declared to have passed were read out one by one, and they were officially conferred their graduation status.
To acknowledge academic excellence, the event included the presentation of awards to the top-performing and fastest-graduating students from each study program, as well as an award for the best graduate at the Department of Agriculture level. Towards the end of the ceremony, the Director of Politani Samarinda delivered remarks, offering messages and words of encouragement to the graduates to continue contributing to the workforce and society, utilizing the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies at Politani Samarinda.
PERFORMANCES AND CLOSING
The event concluded with a series of student performances, including a video recap of their academic journey—which was both moving and nostalgic—and lively traditional dance performances.
