Samarinda, August 22, 2026 — The Department of Environment and Forestry at the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda) held a graduation eligibility ceremony (*yudisium*) for graduates from four study programs: Forest Management (PH), Forest Product Processing (PHH), Environmental Management (PL), and Wood Engineering (RK). The solemn event took place in the Politani Samarinda Integrated Laboratory Auditorium and was attended by all prospective graduates from the four programs. The event opened with remarks from the Master of Ceremonies (MC), followed by a prayer of gratitude for the participants' achievements. The atmosphere grew even more solemn as all attendees sang the national anthem, "Indonesia Raya," followed by the Politani March, symbolizing pride in their alma mater.

The proceedings continued with reports from each study program coordinator. The first report was presented by the Forest Management Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Elisa Herawati, S.Hut., M.P., who outlined the academic achievements and journeys of PH students during their studies. Next, the Forest Product Processing Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Erina Hertianti, S.Hut., M.P., presented an overview of the academic process and student achievements in the PHH program. The reporting session continued with the Environmental Management Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Taufiq Rinda Alkas, S.Si., M.Pd., who detailed the achievements of PL students. The final report was delivered by the Wood Engineering Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Ir. Syafi'i, M.P., who concluded the series of coordinator reports by presenting the achievements of RK students.

Moving to the main event, the graduation ceremony proceeded sequentially, beginning with the Forest Management Study Program, followed by Forest Product Processing, Environmental Management, and concluding with Wood Engineering. The names of the students declared to have passed were read out one by one, and they were officially conferred their graduation status. To acknowledge academic excellence, the event also featured awards for the top-performing and fastest-graduating students from each study program, as well as an award for the best graduate across the entire Department of Environment and Forestry.

Towards the end of the event, the Director of Politani Samarinda delivered remarks, offering messages and words of encouragement to the graduates. The event concluded with a series of student performances, including a video recap of their academic journey that was both moving and nostalgic. The ceremony wrapped up with group photo sessions for each study program to commemorate this historic occasion.
