Handover of the Position of Director of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (2026)

SAMARINDA (13/10/2026) – The Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda) has officially welcomed new leadership. The handover of the Director position for the 2022–2026 term from Hamka, S.Tp., M.Sc., MP, to the Director-elect for the 2026–2030 term, Dr. Heriad Daud Salusu, S.Hut., MP, took place at the Politani Samarinda Integrated Laboratory Auditorium on Tuesday (13/10/2026).

The event was attended by study program coordinators, department heads, center heads, and heads of academic support units within Politani Samarinda. The presence of these officials demonstrated the campus community's support for a smooth leadership transition. During the proceedings, the academic community presented a token of appreciation to Hamka, acknowledging his dedication in leading Politani Samarinda across two terms: 2018–2022 and 2022–2026. This presentation symbolized gratitude for his contributions and service toward the institution's development.

Subsequently, both directors delivered remarks. In his address, Hamka expressed his gratitude and thanks to the entire academic community for their cooperation and support during his tenure. He also expressed hope that the new leadership would propel Politani Samarinda toward greater progress and competitiveness. Meanwhile, Heriad Daud Salusu expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in him to lead Politani Samarinda for the 2026–2030 term. He stated his commitment to building upon existing achievements and called for synergy among all staff to enhance the quality of education, research, and community service. The event concluded with a group photo session featuring the outgoing director, the incoming director, and all attendees.
