Santiaji's Simultaneous Industrial Internship at Politani Samarinda Equips Students with K3 and Employment Insights

SAMARINDA (27/07/2026) – The Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani) held a simultaneous Industrial Internship Santiaji event on Monday, July 27, 2026. This briefing event for students preparing to enter the workforce took place in the Politani Samarinda Auditorium and was officially opened by the Director of Politani Samarinda.

The event, attended by students from various study programs, featured two expert speakers in their fields. The first speaker, Agus Sugiarto, S.Sos., from the East Kalimantan Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans), provided insight into the dynamics of the workforce and professional ethics in the industrial environment. Meanwhile, Heri Purwanto, S.Pd., M.Si., from the Samarinda Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Center of the Ministry of Manpower, presented material on the importance of implementing an OHS culture in the workplace.

The Santiaji event was attended by the Heads of Departments (Kajur) at Politani Samarinda and several lecturers. This event provided training for students enrolled in several study programs, including Environmental Management, Plantation Cultivation, Plantation Management, Plantation Product Technology, Wood Engineering, and Geomatics and Surveying Engineering Technology.

In his remarks, the Director of Politani Samarinda emphasized the importance of this activity as it prepares students for fieldwork or industrial internships. "We hope that through this Santiaji, students will not only be technically prepared but also understand safety aspects and applicable labor regulations," he said.
