SAMARINDA (20/05/2026) — Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda) continues to expand its international network and strengthen its role as an adaptive and impactful vocational college through active participation in the Faculty Training Program organized by Guangxi Eco-Engineering Vocational & Technical College, Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, in May 2026.
This international training activity was attended by 20 participants from various state universities in Indonesia. Politani Samarinda played a strategic role through the participation of Politani Samarinda Director, Hamka, S.TP., M.Sc., M.P., and Politani Samarinda lecturer, Puspita, S.E., M.Pd., as participants in the training program.
This program is part of strengthening Indonesia-China vocational education cooperation through the China-Indonesia TVET Industry-Education Alliance 2026, which focuses on improving human resource competency, developing applied technology, and strengthening synergies between education and industry.
The training is conducted in three main schemes:
1. Eucalyptus Growing and Caring Techniques
2. Protective Solanaceous Vegetable Growing Techniques
3. Floral Arts and Crafts.
All programs are designed to provide learning experiences based on practice, technology, and global industry needs.
Politani Samarinda's participation in this program is a concrete step in supporting the transformation of vocational higher education in line with the spirit of "Impact Campus." By strengthening lecturer competency and expanding international networks, the results of this program are expected to be implemented in learning development, improving human resource quality, implementing applied technology innovation, and empowering communities.
In addition to strengthening academic capacity, Politani Samarinda's active participation in international forums further affirms the campus's position as a vocational education institution capable of competing globally and contributing to the development of the agricultural and applied technology sectors in Indonesia.
