The event began with a warm welcome from Ms. Andi Lisna, Head of P3KM, who emphasized the importance of developing professional competencies through certification to improve the quality of writing and publishing in Indonesia. Ms. Andi Lisna also emphasized that activities such as this workshop are highly relevant to the needs of the growing world of education and the publishing industry.

The workshop then featured two keynote speakers, highly competent in their fields: Epik Finilih, S.Si., M.Hum., a literacy practitioner, and Syafei Karim, M.Kom., a representative from Tanesa Publishing.

Epik Finilih presented on the importance of professional certification for writers and editors. This certification opens up broader career opportunities and establishes professional standards recognized by the industry.

The second speaker, Syafei Karim, M.Kom., provided insight into the world of publishing, particularly related to textbooks, monographs, and reference books, which are required to be written by lecturers and professional writers. He also reviewed the various publishing packages offered by Tanesa, which include services such as ISBNs, cover design, layout, proofreading, and online marketing through Tanesa's Publication and Google Scholar.
