Politani Samarinda Holds Public Test of Candidates for PPKS Selection Committee

PPKS Selection Committee
The State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani) of Samarinda, has held a public test on Candidates for the Selection Committee (CaPansel) Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (SATGAS PPKS) for the period 2022 – 2024 at the Samarinda Politani, on Friday, (05/8) /2022). This activity is carried out in 2 methods, namely offline which is located in the Public Lecture Room (RKU) of the Samarinda Politani Campus, and online through the Politani Samarinda youtube channel, followed by lecturers, education staff, administration, students and the community around the campus.

The public test activity for prospective members of the PPKS Task Force Pansel conducted by the Samarinda Politani is part of the Samarinda Politani commitment to create a campus environment free from sexual violence, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Permendikbudristek) Number 30 of 2021 concerning Prevention and Handling Sexual Violence in the College Environment. The activity was moderated by Mr. Yulianto, S.Kom., M.MT as Deputy Director 4 Bid. The Samarinda Politani cooperation begins with the introduction and delivery of the vision and mission of the candidates for the selection committee for the PPKS Politani Samarinda task force consisting of Lecturers, Education Personnel, and Students.

After the introduction and delivery of the vision and mission, followed by a question session, the panelists who were present gave questions to all the candidates for the selection committee on how to prevent and handle sexual violence.

In his speech the Director of Politani Samarinda Hamka, S.TP., M.Sc., MP. , said that this activity was carried out based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology No. 30 of 2021 where Universities are required to have PPKS SATGAS, according to the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology this is a form of prevention and also a form of handling, the first prevention is how our campus when it has PPKS SATGAS it will be ensured that it will not there are people who dare to commit violence (harassment) which will harm mainly women. Secondly, with this task force, we hope that when there is a problem of violence or sexual harassment, there will be assistance to resolve this issue. then the PPKS SATGAS selection committee was formed, when the committee was formed, later this panel would carry out the task of selecting the right people and having experience (having accompanied people who had experienced violence / sexual harassment) to become PPKS SATGAS.
