Accreditation is an assessment activity to determine the feasibility of Study Programs and Higher Education in accordance with the criteria that have been set based on the National Higher Education Standards Law Number 12 of 2012. In the context of implementing the 2021 Accreditation, the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education conducts online field assessments on study programs. Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic Wood Engineering. Present Prof. Zainal Muktamar from Bengkulu University and Dr. Priyono Suryanto from Gadjah Mada University as the Assessor Team for BAN-PT which will be held on Wednesday-Thursday, November 10-11, 2021. Even though the Covid-19 pandemic has decreased its spread rate but to avoid unwanted things, Field Assessment (AL) activities for the accreditation of the Wood Engineering Study Program are carried out online using the Zoom Meeting media.
The Timber Engineering Study Program Accreditation Team, led by the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Ir., Iskandar, MP. and Head of the Department of Forest Products Technology, Dr. Abdul Rasyid Zarta, S. Hut., M.P. together with the entire team, have worked hard to prepare all the documents and supporting data needed for the preparation and implementation of this field assessment. The two assessors when conducting field assessments checked documents and other supporting data in accordance with the form data that had been entered by the team, then continued with discussions and questions and answers regarding the contents of the accreditation form and self-evaluation to the head of study programs, lecturers and students of the Wood Engineering study program. Hamka as the Director of Politani Samarinda, said that there are still many things that need to be improved and completed by the Wood Engineering Study Program, but what was conveyed during the field assessment was valid information, he hoped that the Wood Engineering Study Program (RK) would get the best results.
