Programs promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology such as the Independent Learning Campus Curriculum (MBKM) have become an important momentum that needs to be translated contextually within the PATPI environment. The establishment of a comprehensive curriculum really requires the role of various interested parties, including professional and expertise organizations such as PATPI, therefore in order for organizational activities to continue in accordance with mutual agreements and plans, the administrators hold a working meeting with the theme "Strengthening the PATPI Network and Organization in Supporting Development in East Kalimantan” in the meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Samarinda Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani), Saturday (12/3/2022)
The Samarinda Branch PATPI Working Meeting in 2022 was attended by the Director and Deputy Director of the Samarinda Politani Academic Affairs and all members of the Samarinda PATPI branch including the Samarinda Branch PATPI Chair, Prof. Dr. Oec.troph. Krishna P. Chandra, Prof. Dr. Bernatal Saragih and Anton Rahmadi, Ph.D as the Advisory Board, as well as several external invitees as resource persons namely the Head of PATPI Center Prof. Dr. Umar Santoso, and Prof. Dr. Yuli Witono, who attended online via Link Zoom, was also an effort to provide space for members who were unable to attend offline.

The aims and objectives of this activity program are: to provide a discussion space for all members to contribute to the preparation of the Samarinda Branch PATPI work program. At the same time, keep in touch with fellow members so that strong and close relationships are built between PATPI members with various mutually beneficial activities.

Hamka, S.TP., M.Sc., MP. as the Director of the Samarinda Politani as well as the host of this working meeting in his speech expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the presence and implementation of the working meeting at the Samarinda Politani, Hamka explained regarding the scarcity of cooking oil "currently cooking oil is very scarce, even if there are people there will be long queues to get cooking oil. oil, for that the Indonesian Association of Food Technology Experts (PATPI) should be able to address this problem by providing solutions or alternatives by inviting people to use coconut oil or make their own coconut oil, because coconut has a lot of potential and is easily obtained by the community and technology. Making coconut oil is easy and cheap and of course healthy to use. he said. This is where the role of PATPI as an expert in food technology is to educate the public to solve the problem of how to use cooking oil from Palm Oil by replacing cooking oil from coconut oil. Hamka hopes that from this activity, a work program for the PATPI Samarinda Branch will be drawn up for the 2022-2026 management period and positive synergy will be established between PATPI members, and PATPI can be more active and beneficial for the community, nation and beloved country, especially to support the development of East Kalimantan, he concluded.
