Politani Samarinda Student Wins Second Place in Educational Video Competition with "FORCES" Theme: A Real-Life Appearance of an Impactful Campus
SAMARINDA (02/05/2016) – The Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic has once again demonstrated its commitment to establishing an Impactful Campus through the achievements of its students. Naila Febrianti, a student in the Plantation Management Study Program, won second place in the Educational Video Competition at the 25th Anniversary Week of the Ministry of Health Polytechnic of East Kalimantan.

The competition, held from April 27–30, 2016, attracted students from various universities in East Kalimantan, focusing on strengthening educational literacy through creative media. Naila's educational video, presented in a communicative and applicable manner, was easily understood by the wider community.

The work not only highlighted visual creativity but also contained educational messages relevant to everyday life, particularly in raising public awareness and understanding of important issues. This aligns with the spirit of an impactful campus, where student learning outcomes extend beyond the classroom and become tangible solutions for the community.

The Director of Politani Samarinda stated that this achievement is concrete evidence that students are capable of integrating scientific knowledge with social needs. "This achievement reflects how vocational students are able to produce work that is not only competitive but also makes a real contribution to society," he said.

Furthermore, this success emphasizes the role of vocational higher education institutions as agents of change that adapt to current developments. By strengthening competencies in digital, communication, and creativity, students are encouraged to produce innovations that have a direct impact.

Politani Samarinda remains committed to supporting the development of student potential through various programs and competitions, as part of the implementation of the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia to realize impactful, inclusive, and sustainable higher education.

Naila Febrianti's achievement is expected to inspire other students to continue working, innovating, and taking an active role in addressing societal challenges through science and technology. (HUMAS)
