Politani Samarinda Students Qualified for the 35th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS)

The student team from the Plantation Plant Cultivation Study Program will represent the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic at the 25th National Student Science Week (PIMNAS) 2022. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) group for the Department of Plantation  was able to pass after attending the assessment stages by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The success of students who pass PIMNAS cannot be separated from the hard work of the students and supervisors of the PKM group. In addition, the supervisor and student affairs department also always provide assistance, so that at the time of evaluation this group of students can fulfill the assessment from the Ministry.

The Politani Samarinda Student Creativity Program (PKM) Team successfully passed to the 35th National Level Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) in 2022. This PIMNAS activity is a series of stages for evaluating proposals for the Student Creativity Program (PKM), and Assessment of the Progress of PKM Implementation (PKP2). 2022 which has been carried out online. The research team for the Exacta representative of the Samarinda Politani is from the Plantation Cultivation Study Program with the title 'Exploration of Cellulolytic Bacteria from Empty Oil Palm Fruit Bunches, chaired by Aldi Al Faro with members Syaiful Arifin, M. Fajar, M. Fauzan and Associate Lecturer  La Mudi SP., MP.

The Director of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Samarinda Politani) Hamka was very proud and happy when he found out that his students had passed. "One achievement of the Samarinda Politani students that did not take the form of medals or awards was the passage of the Samarinda Politani PKM team to compete at the national level against prestigious PTN/PTS students in the 35th National Scientific Week event at Muhammadiyah University Malang. He said, "This is proof that the efforts and hard work of the Samarinda Politany, especially in the student affairs sector in recent years, have paid off in terms of preparing and galvanizing students to always be prepared to innovate in research and equip themselves with a myriad of skills in making and compiling proposals and reports. Apart from that, student affairs efforts also seek for lecturers to be able to actively participate in guiding students in this prestigious national event. This year, 7 proposals succeeded in passing the Ministry of Education and Culture's PKM funding and 1 of them even passed PIMNAS. Hamka said.

It was further stated that Politani Samarinda really hopes that students will be able to show their quality competing in PIMNAS. We all leaders and all employees and students pray for the PIMNAS Team of Politani Samarinda to be able to present achievements in that event. The participation of Samarinda Politani students in Pimnas will also provide many benefits, one of which is to test the soft skills and hard skills and knowledge possessed by students to measure themselves against the abilities of students throughout Indonesia and besides that as an experience for students which will later be passed on to their juniors about tips and trips to qualify for PIMNAS in the following years and also increasing the quality and quantity of titles and the number of students participating.
