The Agricultural Innovation Technology Competition (AITeC) IV 2022 competition which was held at the Payakumbuh Politani, West Sumatra 4-5 July, with the theme "Improving the Quality of Agricultural Human Resources to Strengthen Sustainable Agricultural Independence" became a proud moment for the Samarinda Politani because the students succeeded performed brilliantly and successfully won 1st place for Survey and Land Mapping, 3rd place for Agricultural Innovation.
The gold medal that was won was the result of the victory of the Agricultural Land Survey and Mapping Competition Branch led by Fadillah Yusuf and Sima Nafisyah, students from the Geomatics Technology Study Program. Meanwhile, the bronze medal was won from the Agricultural Technology Innovation Competition by Software Engineering Technology Study Program students on behalf of Muhammad Andreyan Maulana, Muhammad Syahril Ramadhani and Lia Safitri.
AITeC is a fairly prestigious competition for all state polytechnics or universities in the field of agriculture. This year's AITeC IV is the fourth competition for students to show their abilities or competencies to compete with other universities in Indonesia. This year there are 11 branches of competition that are competed in AITeC, namely Plant Grafting Techniques, Agricultural Technology, Agricultural Extension, Fish Filet Processing Techniques, Chicken Carcass Processing Techniques, Fish Meatball Making Techniques, Design of Agricultural Tools and Machinery with AUTOCAD, Land Surveys and Mapping Agriculture, Blood Sampling Techniques, Sorting Coffee Beans and Livestock Handling Contests.
A total of 6 students delegated from Politani Samarinda succeeded in making the name of Politani Samarinda proud on the national stage at this prestigious event, with this achievement, Politani Samarinda was included as the top 4 of the 16 participants who took part in AITEC in 2022 in Limapuluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra. Radik Khairil Insanu and Eko Junirianto, who are supervisors from the Samarinda Politani team, expressed their pride in the achievements of their mentored students, namely Fadillah Yusuf and Sima Nafisyah, from the Geomatics Technology study program and M.
