SAMARINDA – Students receiving the BPDP Palm Oil scholarship at the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda) participated in the 2026 Mental, Physical, and Discipline Guidance (*Bintalfisdis*) program. The event took place over five days, from September 28 to October 2, 2026.
**Opening and Campus Organization Introduction**
The first day was held at the Auditorium of the SBSN Integrated Laboratory Building at Politani Samarinda. The event opened with an introduction to campus organizations and an explanation of administrative matters regarding the 2026 BPDP Palm Oil scholarship. Campus-based activities continued until the afternoon, after which all participants proceeded to the TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces) Company C facility, where the program continued until October 2, 2026.
**Organization, Leadership, and National Defense**
On the second day, representatives from the 2026 BPDP Palm Oil Human Resources scholarship program presented material on BPDP organizational structure. A session on leadership was delivered by Rusli Anwar, a lecturer at Politani Samarinda. Participants then received instruction on national defense from Mr. Joko, an instructor at the TNI Company C facility. Following a break for prayer and lunch, TNI personnel demonstrated the use of firearms to the participants.
**Dangers of Drugs, Online Gambling, and the Night Challenge**
The following day, the Samarinda City Police (*Polresta Samarinda*) presented material on the dangers of drugs and online gambling. Participants then practiced marching drills. That evening, a "night challenge" (*jurit malam*) activity featuring various games was held, concluding with a campfire and a session for evening reflection.
**Work Culture, Arts Performance, and Closing**
On the final day, October 2, 2026, participants received a briefing on work culture from Fahrizal, a lecturer at Politani Samarinda. Afterward, students from the 2025 BPDP Palm Oil scholarship cohort presented an arts performance. Following the break for lunch and Friday prayers, the event concluded with a closing ceremony marking the end of the 2026 *Bintalfisdis* program.
Through this activity, BPDP Sawit scholarship recipients are expected to develop mental resilience, physical fitness, and strong discipline, preparing them to become leaders of integrity in the agriculture and palm oil plantation sectors.
