Samarinda (06/06/2023). Forest Product Technology Department Conducts Public Lecture Activities with the theme "Wood Finishing Materials and Techniques" in collaboration with PT. Propan Raya Samarinda. The activity was carried out on June 6 2023 which took place in the General Lecture Room (RKU) of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic Campus.
The activity was opened by Ir. Syafi'i, MP as head of the Wood Engineering Study Program. In his speech he expressed his gratitude to PT. Propan Raya Samarinda, who was pleased to be present at the activity, and explained to all participants that the Department of Forest Product Technology, which had been given the opportunity to work together several times, did not forget to introduce representatives from PT. Propan Raya Samarinda, as for representatives from PT. Propan Raya Samarinda, Agustine (Head of Propan Samarinda Branch), Aris Rinaldi (Head of Propan Product Application Technician), and Abdul Munir (Head of Propan for the Eastern Indonesia region).
In this activity, Abdul Munir, who was appointed as a guest speaker, explained some material related to the function and use of wood and explained a little about wood finishing materials and techniques during the processing of furniture, partitions, and other tools that use wood as a base material. Because the material presented was very interesting so that it sparked the curiosity of the participants and asked several questions. Then the activity ended with a group photo session. (HUMAS/NS).
