POLITANI SAMARINDA (01/31/2025) - Visit of the Head of the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Service, Mr. Ir. A. Rafiddin Rizal, S.T., M.Sc., and his staff to Politani Samarinda. This activity was opened directly by the Director of Politani Samarinda, Mr. Hamka S.TP., M.Sc., M.P., in his speech Hamka explained in detail about the profile and facilities owned by Politani Samarinda, Hamka also expressed his gratitude to the group from the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Service for taking the time to attend and discuss together. In this series of activities, Rafiddin Rizal also provided advice and exchanged opinions regarding crucial issues related to plantations in East Kalimantan, in his delivery he also expressed his gratitude and was happy to have visited Politani Samarinda, and he hoped that this would not be the first and last visit.
Discussion sessions with several questions and exchange of experiences were also highlights, both Poliani Samarinda and the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Service sharing knowledge and experience in building and developing plantation science. During the visit, Hamka also invited the Head of the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Service and his staff to visit the Oil Palm Demonstration Plantation, Green Open Space (RTH), Plantation Product Technology Laboratory, and Plantation Administration Laboratory in the Politani Samarinda campus environment. Hopefully, this visit can provide input and direction related to plantation development and better plantation management in the future.
