SAMARINDA, July 10, 2025 - The Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic, through its Public Relations Coordinator, Puspita, SE., M.Pd., participated in the Evaluation and Technical Reporting of Public Relations for State Universities (PTN) during the 2025 National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB). This event was held offline in Makassar City on July 9–11, 2025.

In addition to serving as Public Relations Coordinator, Puspita is also the Head of the Information and Computer Technology Academic Support Unit (KUPA TIK) at Politani Samarinda. She attended the event, organized by the SNPMB Central Committee, to comprehensively discuss the two previously implemented selection pathways: the Achievement-Based National Selection (SNBP) and the Test-Based National Selection (SNBT).

Held at the Four Points by Sheraton Makassar Hotel, the event was attended by 76 Public Relations Coordinators from Academic State Universities (PTN) and 44 Public Relations Officers from Vocational State Universities (PTN). The Head of the National Selection and Admissions Agency (SNPMB), Prof. Eduart Wolok, emphasized that in addition to being a technical evaluation platform, the event also highlighted various important issues that emerged during the selection process, including crucial issues such as completing the PDSS (State University Student Admissions System) and findings of violations during the exam. He also emphasized the strategic role of Public Relations in conveying accurate information and handling communication crises.

On the same occasion, the Public Relations Coordinator of the SNPMB, Dr. Ismaini Zain, M.Si., stated that the central committee is encouraging incentives for the contribution of PTN Public Relations officers in publication and information dissemination activities. While acknowledging challenges in budget disbursement influenced by the internal policies of each PTN, the committee continues to strive to support the creation of outreach content, including promotional videos for the SNPMB.

As a token of appreciation, the central committee also presented awards titled "Expedition" for the best video productions from several PTN Public Relations officers, both academic and vocational. Among the award recipients were Yogyakarta State University, Gadjah Mada University, ISBI Bandung, and the Pangkajene Islands State Agricultural Polytechnic. (PR)
