Samarinda, August 2, 2025 – The Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda), through its Plantation Product Technology and Food Engineering Technology study programs, once again conducted community service activities under the 2025 Community Service BIMA scheme.

The activity, titled "Empowering Community Partnerships: Synergy between Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and Home Industries in Processing Cassava into Mocaf Flour," was held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, in Sungai Bawang Village, Muara Badak District, Kutai Kartanegara.

The event featured speakers from Politani Samarinda lecturers, including:
  • Adnan Putra Pratama, S.P., M.Sc.
  • Dr. Ahmad Zamroni, S.Hut., MP.
  • Dr. Andi Lisnawati, S.P., M.Sc.

Accompanied by three students from both study programs, the team provided training and direct mentoring to village communities in processing cassava into Mocaf flour, which has a higher selling value and is environmentally friendly for home industries.

This activity is part of a program funded by the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service (DRTPM) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology for the 2025 Fiscal Year, which aims to promote village economic independence based on local potential.

Through this activity, it is hoped that the synergy between vocational education institutions and the community will strengthen the production capacity and the village economy in a sustainable manner. (PR)
