70 students and teachers from SMK Negeri 1 Tenggarong took part in an industrial visit to the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic.
Samarinda, Thursday, October 15, 2026. Held at the Integrated Laboratory Building Auditorium of Politani Samarinda, this event focused on introducing the Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) study program and included a tour of the institution’s integrated laboratories.

The visitors were welcomed by representatives from the TRPL study program at Politani Samarinda. The event began with opening remarks from the Deputy Director I, Muslimin B, S.Kom., M.Cs., and a representative from SMKN 1 Tenggarong. This was followed by an exchange of mementos between Politani Samarinda and SMKN 1 Tenggarong. Subsequently, a presentation was delivered regarding the TRPL program and its curriculum—covering course structures, learning outcomes, and the competencies graduates acquire to meet the demands of the digital industry.

Furthermore, the participants were introduced to various projects developed by TRPL students and faculty. These project demonstrations proved particularly engaging for the students, as they were able to see tangible results—such as web-based applications, information systems, and other software solutions—stemming from the campus’s learning process.

The students' enthusiasm was evident during the Q&A session, where those from SMKN 1 Tenggarong actively posed questions to the TRPL team. Following the session in the auditorium, the students were taken on a tour of the facilities within the Integrated Laboratory Building. This visit was intended to provide the students with a clear picture of the learning environment and the practical training resources available on campus. It is hoped that this activity will foster a strong synergy between SMKN 1 Tenggarong and the TRPL study program at Politani Samarinda, while also motivating the students to further develop their interests and competencies in the field of information technology.
