137 D4 Politani Samarinda Students Ready to Implement PKN 2025 in 15 Sub-districts of Samarinda
Samarinda (12/06/2025) – A total of 137 students from three D4 level study programs at the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic will carry out the 2025 Real Work Practice (PKN) activity. This activity will last for four weeks, starting from June 16 to July 11, 2025.

The details of the PKN participants are as follows:

* 61 students from the Plantation Management Study Program (Semester VI),
* 65 students from the Software Engineering Technology Study Program (Semester IV), and
* 11 students from the Wood Engineering Study Program (Semester VI).

Students are divided into 15 groups consisting of 9-10 people per group, which is a combination of cross-study programs. The locations of the activities are spread across 15 sub-districts in three districts in Samarinda City: Samarinda Ulu, North Samarinda, and Samarinda City.

This year's PKN activity has a more integrated concept. Each department and study program coordinates to prepare a work program that is not only relevant to the scientific field, but also has community service value. Each group will carry out the themes and activities that have been determined together.

As a form of preparation, the Santiaji PKN 2025 activity was held the day before departure, namely on June 12, 2025.

This event carries the theme:

> "Optimizing Natural Resource Potential and Digital Technology Synergy to Achieve Sustainable Socio-Economic Resilience for the Realization of an Excellent Society."

The Santiaji event was opened at 08.00 WITA by singing the song Indonesia Raya, reading prayers, a report from the P3KM chairman, and remarks from the Director of Politani or his representative.

This session also includes the delivery of material from external and internal speakers, including:

* Yosua Laden, S.S.TP., M.Si. Samarinda City Sub-district Head as the main speaker
* Dr. Andi Lisnawati, M.Si, Head of P3KM Center, Presentation of the implementation mechanism of PKN 2025

Program presentations from each Study Program, namely:

- Andi Lelanovita Sardianti, S.P., M.M. from the PP Study Program (Plantation Management).
Theme: "Realizing Sustainable Food Homes with the Implementation of the Zero Waste System"
- Ridwan, ST., M.Sc. from the RK Study Program (Forestry Engineering).
Theme: "Utilization of Wood and Household Industrial Waste as Raw Materials for the Handicraft Industry."
- Muhammad Ade Saputera, S.T. from the TRPL Study Program (Software Engineering Technology).
Theme: "Content Creator"

The moderator in the material delivery session was Eko Junirianto, S.Kom., M.Cs.

The entire Santiaji series closed at 12.15 WITA. This activity is an important foundation before students are deployed to the field, with the hope of equipping them conceptually and practically.

Meanwhile, the Release and Departure of students to their respective locations will be held on June 13, 2025, accompanied by a supervising lecturer as a form of initial assistance and coordination on site.

With the implementation of PKN 2025, Politani Samarinda hopes that students can apply the knowledge gained during lectures and make a real contribution to the development of local communities, in line with the mission of the tridharma of higher education. (HUMAS)
