2026 PKN Student Graduation Ceremony
Samarinda, June 18, 2026 – The Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani) held a graduation ceremony for students undergoing Community Service (PKN) on the campus grounds on Thursday morning (June 18, 2026). The event saw students departing for various locations in East Kalimantan and the surrounding areas to serve and apply the knowledge they have acquired during their studies. The ceremony proceeded solemnly and orderly, featuring the recitation of the Student Pledge and a series of other protocol procedures. All participants appeared to be serious about participating in each event under the bright morning sun.

The Director of Politani Samarinda served as the ceremony instructor and leader. In his address, he officially sent off the students to go directly into the community to carry out their community service duties, one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The Director emphasized that the PKN period is not merely an academic obligation, but a golden opportunity for students to learn from the realities of community life, understand social dynamics, and hone their sensitivity to issues in the field. In his briefing speech, the Director of Politani Samarinda emphasized several important points that all PKN participants must pay attention to, including briefings on living in society and maintaining the good name of the alma mater, as well as maintaining safety and health.

The farewell ceremony concluded with a prayer for the smooth and safe running of all students during the PKN program, followed by a handshake.
With the ceremony concluded, the students are scheduled to depart for their respective locations in the next few days. The Director expressed his hope that all participants would complete their assignments successfully and take home valuable experiences that will serve them well in their service to the nation and state. The entire ceremony proceeded smoothly, safely, and conducively. Hopefully, Politani Samarinda students will successfully complete their PKN program and return to campus with stories of change for the community.
