SAMARINDA (29/11/2025) - A National Seminar with the theme "Building an Impactful Downstream Future: Innovation and Research Collaboration towards a Polytechnic University" was held by the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic with the first speaker being Dr. Ir. H. Fitriansyah, S.T., M.M., Head of BRIDA East Kalimantan Province, followed by the next speaker being Prof. Ir. Andi Dirpan S.TP., M.Sc., PhD. from Hasanuddin University Makassar. The event was held on November 29, 2025, at the Grand Kartika Hotel Samarinda. This national seminar is an annual event organized by Politani Samarinda. The event began with an opening by Deputy Director 1 of Politani Samarinda Dr. Heriad Daud Salusu, S.Hut., MP, followed by the seminar organizer, Dr. Andi Lisnawati, SP., M.Sc., and was attended by several campuses such as STIMIK WICIDA, Mulawarman University, and other campuses.
The event took place both in-person and online (via Zoom). The first speaker, Dr. Ir. H. Fitriansyah, S.T., M.M., delivered a presentation titled "Downstreaming East Kalimantan's Superior Products to Increase Added Value and Regional Competitiveness." Next, Prof. Ir. Andi Dirpan S.TP., M.Sc., PhD, delivered an online presentation via Zoom from Hasanuddin University, Makassar. After the speakers finished their presentations and a lunch break, the seminar was divided into two sessions for presentations to participants. It is hoped that this national seminar will foster the downstreaming of the research presented at the Samarinda Politani National Seminar. (HUMAS)
