Samarinda, August 17, 2025 – A solemn atmosphere and national spirit enveloped the courtyard of the Directorate of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda) as the academic community held a Flag Ceremony commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. The national theme was "United Sovereignty, Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia." The event was attended by Politani Samarinda's leadership, lecturers, educational staff, contract employees, outsourced staff, and students.
This Independence Day moment also served as an opportunity to express appreciation for Politani Samarinda's lecturers and staff through the presentation of Decrees (SK) for Academic Promotion and Rank, Satyalancana Karya Satya, and Decrees for Retired Employees.

In his speech, the Director conveyed that the spirit of independence must be embodied in hard work, discipline, and togetherness to continue serving the nation. He also expressed his appreciation for the dedication of the lecturers and staff who have contributed significantly to the advancement of Politani Samarinda.
The ceremony concluded with a prayer and thanksgiving for the lecturers' Performance Allowances (Tukin), which served as a form of gratitude and motivation to improve their performance in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
With this ceremony, Politani Samarinda not only commemorated the nation's historic day but also strengthened our collective resolve to continue making a real contribution to building agricultural vocational education for a more advanced Indonesia. (PR)
