SAMARINDA (05/10/2025) – Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda) has once again demonstrated its commitment to community empowerment through food innovation. On Sunday (October 5, 2025), the Food Engineering Technology Study Program (TRP) held a "Chocolate Tempeh Chips Making Training" for students at the MANTAABA Islamic Boarding School in Samarinda.
This activity aimed to improve the students' practical skills while also opening up local entrepreneurial opportunities. The training provided hands-on experience in processing tempeh-based foods into innovative, attractive, and economically valuable products.
During the activity, the students were accompanied by lecturers and students from Politani Samarinda through every stage of production, from selecting raw materials and frying the tempeh, mixing the chocolate, and packaging the product ready for sale. The participants' enthusiasm was high, with many students actively experimenting and asking questions to understand the correct production techniques.
Rahma Yanti, the head of the PKM activity, explained that this training was expected to equip the students with skills and creativity, while also encouraging them to develop sustainable entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, the Head of the MANTAABA Islamic Boarding School, Ustadz Husni Mubarak, expressed his appreciation for this activity. He hoped for synergy between Politani Samarinda and the Islamic boarding school. can continue to benefit both students and the surrounding community.
