PKM Politani Samarinda and STIKES Dirgahayu Collaborate to Improve Digital Literacy and Health in South Sempaja through the BISHELDIG Program
Samarinda – The Community Service Program (PKM), titled BISHELDIG-Business, Healthy Living, and Digital, is a community service program funded by a grant from the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service (DRTPM) of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Science and Technology. The program was held in South Sempaja Village, North Samarinda. The program was led by Asep Nurhuda, S.Kom., M.Kom., as Team Leader and Head of the Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) Study Program at the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic, with support from team members Dr. Risna Nona, SE., MM (lecturer at Politani Samarinda) and Maria Floriana Ping, S.Kep., MSN (lecturer at Dirgahayu Samarinda Health College).

The event was also attended and assisted by the Head of South Sempaja Village, Deddy Wahyudi, SP, who provided full support for the program's implementation.

The program featured two speakers who are experts in their fields. Suci Ramadhani, S.Kom., M.Kom (a lecturer at TRPL Politani Samarinda who is also a lecturer in entrepreneurship) delivered material on Economics and Digital Marketing, while Ns. Fransiska Keron Olla, S.Kep., MSN., Sp.Kep.Kom, a lecturer at STIKES Dirgahayu Samarinda, provided material on 10 Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS) for Households.

The participants were the Dasawisma Sakinah Community Group in RT 16, South Sempaja, which is largely comprised of housewives. They enthusiastically participated in both the digital marketing and health education sessions, as the material presented was highly relevant to their daily needs.

The Head of P3KM Politani Samarinda, Dr. Andi Lisnawati, SP., M.Si., expressed her appreciation for this cross-institutional synergy. "The collaboration between Politani Samarinda and STIKES Dirgahayu is a concrete example of how universities can unite to empower communities, both in the digital economy and health," she said.

With the success of this activity, Politani Samarinda once again demonstrated its contribution in bridging higher education with the real needs of the community, and strengthened the university's role in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the city level.
