Samarinda, September 23, 2025 - The Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic (Politani Samarinda) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting sustainable development and national food security. On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, Politani Samarinda held the inauguration of its Green Open Space (RTH) and Green House, along with a Chili Harvest. The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan, Ir. H. Seno Aji, M.Si.
In his remarks, the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan expressed his high appreciation for Politani Samarinda's innovative initiatives, which not only focus on improving the quality of vocational education but also play a significant role in realizing the President of the Republic of Indonesia's program regarding Food Security. The successful chili harvest at the Green House is concrete evidence that Politani is capable of delivering modern agricultural technology that supports community needs while maintaining environmental sustainability.
On the same occasion, the Director of Politani Samarinda, Hamka, S.TP., M.Sc., M.P., expressed his deepest gratitude to the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan for his support and attendance at this event. He emphasized that synergy between the local government and the world of vocational education is an important step to strengthen the role of Samarinda Polytechnic in agricultural development and environmental conservation in East Kalimantan.
The event was also attended by representatives from several East Kalimantan Provincial Government Agencies, Samarinda City Government Agencies, and representatives from industry partners who fully supported the development of the Green Open Space (RTH) and the Politani Green House as a learning and research facility, as well as a green space that benefits the wider community.
