Politani Samarinda, Collaboration between the Study Program of Environmental Management and Cultivation of Plantation Plants in the research and PBL (Project Based Learning) work of the Ministry of Education and Research and Technology on hydroponic cucumber cultivation with the title of the study "Comparison of Substrate Charcoal Husk and Cocopeat for Hydroponic Cultivation of Cucumbers with Drip Irrigation", in this activity the research team included the chairman and 2 members consisting of Haryatie Sarie, SP., MP (Chairman), Daryono, SP., MP (Member), and Nur Hidayat, SP., M.Sc (Member).
In accordance with law No. 12 of 2012 mandates that every type of higher education in Indonesia has a role and responsibility for improving the quality of human resources through its characteristics and characteristics. Vocational Higher Education (PTV) focuses on skills aspects in the learning process to meet industry needs. One of the factors to achieve this is through increasing the competence, insight and knowledge of lecturers related to industrial developments and dynamics.
In carrying out this research, it was located at the Samarinda Politani Campus "Plantation Cultivation Study Program (Hydroponic Land)". This Hydroponic Cucumber Cultivation Research uses Hydroponic growing media with drip irrigation, and is carried out for approximately 2 months until the harvest period. The tools and materials used are Styrofoam Boxes, Paralon Pipes, Parnet Nets, Ropes, Used Jirigen, Cucumber Seeds, Liquid Fertilizer, Husk Charcoal. (HH/Humas).
