Geomatics Technology FGD
The Geomatics Technology Study Program's Focus Group Discussion (FGD) held on November 27 and 28, 2025, was a success. The event took place in the Auditorium of the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic. In addition to the FGD, the Geomatics Technology Study Program also held a Mapping Survey Workshop, presented by Oseanland Indonesia and Indosurta Samarinda. The event was attended not only by members of the Geomatics Technology study program but also by all lecturers, PLP (Planning Assistant), administrative staff, and surveyor students from the Samarinda Agricultural Polytechnic. The event was opened by Deputy Director 1, Heriad Daud Salusu, S.Hut., M.P., followed by remarks by the Geomatics Technology Study Program Coordinator, A. Arifin Itsnani, S.M., S.Si., M.T., who also moderated the presentation session.

The first presentation was delivered by Prof. Dr. -Ing. Fahmi Amhar from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) he is a professor specializing in surveyors, Then continued with material by Teguh Fayakun Alif, S.T., M.Sc., Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) and the last speaker by Nadhiffa Azzura Binuko, S.Si from the Indonesian Oseanland Survey. Students were very enthusiastic about the material presented by Prof. Fahmi Amhar from BRIN, Teguh Fayakun Alif, S.T., M.Sc., Geospatial Information Agency and Nadhiffa Azzura Binuko from the Indonesian Oseanland Survey.

The event lasted for 2 days in addition to the delivery of material on the 2nd day continued with a Workshop on the use of the Slam Lidar Survey Tool filled directly by Ndahiffa Azzura Binuko, S.Si from Oseanland and a Demo of RTK + Lidar by Sheikh Ramadhany, S.T from Indosurta Samarinda. All employees and students in the Samarinda Polytechnic environment participated in the workshop activities enthusiastically. This FGD event aims to be a benchmark as a reference for the curriculum in the Geomatics Technology Study Program so that it can adapt graduates to actual field conditions so that students have a more prepared and mature knowledge base when facing the world of work.
